Cooper Smith brings arm strength, bat speed, and versatile upside
Cooper Smith profiles as a toolsy, competitive catcher who can add value with **bat speed, exit velocity, and athleticism**, making him more than a glove-only backstop; Prep Baseball Report lists a **66.6 mph max bat speed**, **87 mph max exit velocity**, and **7.13-second 60-yard dash**, which points to a player with both pop and mobility.[2] Because the available public data is limited and the search results do not clearly confirm his Louisiana Tech role, the safest read is that Smith is a **developmental fit** if your team wants upside, energy, and a player who may grow into more impact with coaching.[2]
