Corinthia Benison brings veteran guard steadiness and scoring pop to Delaware
Benison’s Delaware profile points to a reliable, multi-year guard who can score, rebound, and handle the ball, with ESPN listing career production of 1.5 points and 3.0 rebounds per game and Sports Reference showing a stronger 2008-09 season at 9.3 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game. The real sell, though, is her all-around utility: a 5-10 guard who has shown she can jump-start offense, make tough shots, and compete physically, which makes her the kind of steady, versatile piece coaches love when they want grit over flash.
