skilled UCSB guard with scoring punch and playmaking upside
Makala Roper stood out at UC Santa Barbara as a productive, versatile guard who could score from the perimeter and create for teammates, including a 25-point, six-assist game and a career-best nine assists in Big West play. Her UCSB career profile shows steady two-way guard value: 115 games played, 7.2 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game. She looks like the kind of player who helps a team with shot-making, ball movement, and calm perimeter decision-making rather than pure volume scoring.
