Heather Stec remains a Siena hoops cornerstone — now driving the program from the staff side
Heather Stec is no longer a current player, but Siena still leans on her basketball IQ and program DNA: after a standout playing career, she was elevated in 2025 to Director of Women’s Basketball Operations and is entering 2025-26 with the Saints. As a player, she was a rugged post presence who averaged 13.9 points per game in 2008-09, grabbed 6.8 rebounds per game over her career, and once hauled in 23 rebounds in a game. That blend of toughness, detail, and Siena familiarity makes her a strong fit for any staff valuing structure, development, and old-school competitiveness.
