Carnell Simon brings disruptive edge pressure and playmaking power to Troy's front
Carnell Simon is a physically imposing **6-foot-4, 264-pound** junior defensive end who emerged in the **2024 season** with **26 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, 2 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, and a pass breakup**, showing the kind of edge disruption that can change drives, not just finish them. He stands out for his length, power, and ability to create turnovers, which makes him more than a basic stat-sheet defender; Troy’s roster notes and stat lines suggest a hard-nosed, high-motor lineman who can fit well in a defense looking for toughness and pressure off the edge.[1][2]
