Elite DE for Alabama State Hornets with 2024 SWAC Breakout
Zesmond White, a standout defensive end for the Alabama State Hornets, emerged as a SWAC stat leader in the 2024 season, known for his relentless intensity and ability to disrupt opposing backfields beyond raw sack numbers. While ESPN lists him under Langston Lions for 2026, team rosters and SWAC coverage confirm his core affiliation with Alabama State, where he’s praised for a high motor, smart positioning, and a personality that elevates team defense. No major injury history is reported, and his consistency makes him a top fit for teams needing a physical, game-changing DE. Care about White because he’s a data-driven performer with intangibles stats can’t capture—intensity, leadership, and clutch play that define SWAC excellence.
