Kentucky’s late-inning strikeout weapon
In the 2026 season, Nile Adcock emerged as a trusted Kentucky relief arm, going 5-1 with two saves, a 4.75 ERA, and 50 strikeouts in 36.0 innings, then got drafted by the Braves in the 20th round. His calling card is swing-and-miss stuff — his 12.5 strikeouts per nine innings ranked among the best in Kentucky history — and he handled leverage spots as the season progressed. For a team, he looks like a competitive, power reliever with real bat-missing upside; the main question is command consistency, since he also issued 19 walks.
