Nicholas Cox brings veteran DB versatility to Maine
Nicholas Cox is a seasoned defensive back with Maine, listed by the program at 5'11" and 190 pounds in his senior year, giving the Black Bears an experienced, physical presence on the back end[2]. His value is less about flash and more about reliability: older DBs who can communicate, tackle, and stay composed are gold for a defense, and Cox’s long track record suggests exactly that kind of steady, trustable profile[2]. He looks like the sort of fit coaches love when they want a mature, assignment-sound secondary piece rather than a highlight-reel gamble[2].
