Benquan Petty brings playmaking value in a low-volume role for Lamar
Petty is a guard whose current value is more about facilitating than scoring, as ESPN lists him at 1.0 points, 0.6 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game for Lamar in 2025-26. That profile suggests a connector-type backcourt piece who can help organize offense and keep the ball moving rather than dominate usage. If you want a steady guard who can fit into a system and make teammates better, Petty is worth a look; if you need a primary scorer, his current production says that is not his lane.
