ECU’s rugged, weight-room-built linebacker with special-teams grit
Joe Carter’s profile at East Carolina is built on toughness, versatility, and earning trust the hard way: his ECU bio notes he’s a special-teams stalwart who can compete for inside-linebacker depth, and older program coverage highlighted his standout strength numbers and resilience after injury. That combination makes him a fit for a team that wants physical, high-motor linebacking depth and special-teams impact more than flash. The catch: his best value has historically come from effort, durability, and intangibles rather than headline-grabbing stat lines.
