a battle-tested Western Illinois guard with a tough-minded edge
Remy Roberts-Burnett’s Western Illinois profile points to a rugged, experienced guard whose value goes beyond box scores: he battled injury in his senior season, still carved out minutes, and earlier in his career could handle a heavier role when healthy. The clearest differentiators are his toughness, steadiness, and willingness to grind through adversity—traits coaches love in a backcourt piece. He’s not a flashy stats-only pick, but he looks like the kind of player who can stabilize a room, compete every possession, and fit a team that wants grit and maturity over highlight-reel noise.
