Zach Miller brings ball-hawking upside and proven takeaway production to Troy
In the 2026 season, Troy DB Zach Miller stands out as a lean, rangy defensive back with a knack for making plays on the ball, and his Butler CC résumé says he arrived with real pedigree after earning first-team All-American honors with a team-high eight interceptions and eight pass breakups. Troy lists him as a junior at 5-9, 175, which suggests a quick, twitchy profile rather than a bulky enforcer—good if you want coverage instincts, special-teams juice, and urgency, less ideal if you need a downhill thumper. If your team values playmaking and competitiveness, he’s worth caring about.
