Sterling Joseph brings big-play juice to FIU’s backfield
Sterling Joseph is a compact, explosive FIU running back whose profile is built on speed and acceleration—EA Sports lists him at 88 speed and 87 acceleration, and FIU’s 2025 notes show he flashed that burst with 123 rushing yards and two touchdowns on just seven carries, including a 61-yard score against Sam Houston. He fits best as a change-of-pace or big-play runner who can turn limited touches into chunk gains, with enough receiving value to add versatility. His production sample is still small, but his home-run ability and freshman-week recognition make him a worthwhile upside add.
