veteran Boston College DB with a downhill, assignment-sound game
Sean Sylvia is a long-tenured Boston College defensive back who has been valued more for steadiness and versatility than splash plays, with past seasons showing he can handle both corner and free-safety duties. In the 2013 season, he logged 68 tackles, 44 solo stops, 2.0 tackles for loss, one interception, one forced fumble and two pass breakups, and in the 2014 season he added 19 tackles while contributing heavily on special teams. He profiles as a tough, dependable fit for teams that want experience, physicality and special-teams value over pure headline-making speed.
