Colgate’s veteran DB with size, versatility, and snapshot ambiguity
Jason Taylor is listed as a defensive back for Colgate, bringing a solid 6-foot-2, 196-pound frame and sophomore eligibility that suggests room to grow. The main takeaway: he profiles as a physical, coachable secondary piece with the size to contest catches and the flexibility to fit multiple coverage roles. One note of caution—public roster data is sparse and currently confusing, so his 2026 impact is hard to verify from stat lines alone. If your team values length, development upside, and depth in the defensive backfield, he’s at least worth a closer look.
