Skyler Thomas brings steady special-teams value for NC A&T
Skyler Thomas is a reliable North Carolina A&T punter whose value comes from consistency and field-position control: ESPN lists him with 74 punts, a 32.7-yard average, a long of 56 yards, and 1 punt inside the 20. He looks like a depth-and-role fit rather than a headline-grabber, which matters for teams that want a dependable specialist who won’t beat himself. The stat line suggests modest explosiveness, but his appeal is in being a usable, assignment-sound piece on special teams.
