Dawson Basinger brings proven burst and big-play juice to Indiana State’s backfield
In the 2022 season, Dawson Basinger finished fourth on Indiana State with 69 rushing yards on 20 carries and added a touchdown, while his high school profile shows the kind of explosive runner who could flip field position in a hurry. He’s a compact 5-10, 195-pound back with a history of big workloads and efficient production, including 2,182 rushing yards and 30 rushing touchdowns in his senior prep season. The fit is obvious: if a team wants a downhill runner with quick-trigger acceleration and proven scoring instincts, Basinger is the kind of no-nonsense back who can earn trust fast.
