former Michigan State walk-on fullback with a blue-collar fit
Ben Line was listed as a Michigan State fullback and a walk-on transfer from Robert Morris who spent two seasons with the Spartans in 2017-18, but the available roster record does not show current on-field production or a 2026 role.[1] The clearest differentiator is fit: he brought the kind of depth, physicality, and willingness-to-work profile that staffs value at fullback, even when the stat sheet is quiet.[1] If you are evaluating him as a roster fit, the appeal is toughness and versatility, not headline numbers.[1]
