Cardell Lue brings size and pedigree to Lamar’s secondary
Cardell Lue is a 6-0, 185-pound cornerback who entered Lamar with a solid recruiting profile as a former 2-star prospect, giving him the frame and baseline traits coaches like on the outside.[1][11][13] The appeal is simple: he looks like a physical CB with enough length to match up, while his profile suggests upside more than flash—useful for a team wanting a dependable defensive back who can develop into a steady contributor.[1][13] One caution flag: the publicly available information is thin on recent on-field production, so the fit question leans more on projection, size, and developmental value than proven stat-sheet dominance.[1][3]
