Marcus Yanez brings veteran linebacker grit, but current Grambling State production is not publicly tracked in the available sources
Marcus Yanez is a former LSU-to-Grambling transfer who was known as a fast, physical linebacker with strong prep credentials — including Class 4A Defensive Player of the Year honors, 104 tackles, three sacks, and three interceptions in his high school career — but the available sources do not show current 2026 Grambling State on-field stats or rankings. If you want a fit profile, the appeal is clear: instinctive play, toughness, and proven defensive pedigree; the caution is that recent game production for Grambling State is not available in the sources reviewed, so his current impact can’t be quantified here.
