Sylvia Shromoff is a rising lefty who already looks like a Summit League problem
In the 2025 season, South Dakota State’s Sylvia Shromoff showed real frontline upside: she earned Summit League honorable mention, threw a seven-inning shutout with five strikeouts in a 5-0 win over Kansas City, and later logged a nine-inning gem against Omaha that kept SDSU in it deep into extras. The 6-foot left-hander brings size, deception, and competitiveness, and her high-school resume hinted at swing-and-miss stuff. If you want a pitcher with poise, durability, and room to keep climbing, she’s absolutely a fit.
