Amare Ary brings proven big-play production and all-conference pedigree to Idaho State
Ary is a 5-foot-9 sophomore wide receiver who arrives with real production: in 2025 at West Virginia State, he caught 54 passes for 995 yards and 8 touchdowns in 11 games, earned First Team All-MEC, and was recognized as a Division II All-American and HBCU All-American.[1][5] His differentiators are efficiency and explosiveness—he averaged 18.4 yards per catch, posted a 189-yard game, and has shown he can flip field position as a return threat.[1] For a team, he looks like a polished playmaker who can win vertically and deliver immediate after-catch impact.[1][2]
