UCSB’s 6-8 rebounding guard with stretch upside
Zion Sensley is a long, versatile guard who has already shown real two-way value at UC Santa Barbara, jumping from 4.1 points per game in the 2024-25 season to about 10.8-10.9 points and 7.5-7.6 rebounds per game in 2025-26 while handling starter-level minutes. His calling card is unusual for a guard: he rebounds like a forward, spaces the floor at roughly 35.6-36.0% from three, and brings a growing efficient inside-out game. For a team, he’s intriguing because his size, rebounding, and shot-making create matchup problems; the flip side is that his playmaking load has remained modest, so he fits best as a complementary wing/guard who can crash, defend, and punish closeouts.
