dependable Butler lineman with a smart, team-first profile
Nick Nykaza stands out as a steady, coachable Butler lineman whose background screams reliability: he was a three-year starter at New Trier, earned All-Central Suburban South recognition as an offensive lineman, and was also an IHSA Scholar-Athlete. Butler’s roster materials list him at OL in 2012 at 6-foot-2, 285 pounds, while earlier notes show he contributed on defense and special teams, which hints at versatility and toughness. He looks like the kind of gritty, academically grounded fit coaches trust to raise the floor of an offensive line room.
