Rod Epps brings veteran point-guard poise and late-game steadiness to UT Arlington
Rod Epps is a seasoned UT Arlington guard whose value shows up in clutch control, composure, and leadership more than empty calories on the stat sheet. In the 2007-08 season, he delivered a career-high 24 points in a tournament win over Lamar, and in conference coverage he was described as part of a guard tandem that helped the Mavericks stretch defenses with perimeter production. He fits best as a steady, experienced backcourt piece: tough, reliable, and comfortable in pressure moments.
