Frank Burton III brings veteran, high-effort interior power to Delaware's defensive front
Burton is a seasoned Delaware defensive tackle whose value goes beyond the box score: he was a team captain in the 2020-2021 seasons and has shown disruptive interior production, including three tackles, a sack, and a fumble recovery against Saint Francis (Pa.)[2][7]. His background as a decorated Delaware prep standout and academic honor-roll selection suggests both competitive toughness and reliability[2][4]. He looks like a fit for a team that wants a physical, experienced interior lineman who can anchor the run game and flash playmaking upside in key moments[2][7].
