UNLV-Committed Safety with Tackling Prowess, Not Bethune-Cookman RB
Sean Mackey, a 6-1, 185-pound safety from Bakersfield, CA (recently at Green Valley HS, NV), committed to UNLV Rebels—not Bethune-Cookman as a RB; in 2023-24 HS season, he dominated with 30 solo tackles (2.5x nat'l avg), 45 total tackles (4.1/gm), 1 sack, and 5 passes defensed, showcasing elite ball skills and coverage instincts from Hudl highlights. Reliable tackler with high-motor intensity; a defensive gem for UNLV's secondary—perfect fit if you need a versatile DB who elevates above average competition.
