Conner Vander Luitgaren brings strike-throwing upside to Evansville’s bullpen
Vander Luitgaren is a right-handed reliever with usable strikeout stuff and enough strike-throwing to work clean innings, including a 1-2-3 seventh with two strikeouts against Evansville on April 8, 2026[1]. He also logged two innings with two strikeouts and no walks in a matchup with Indiana on April 15, 2026, though he has had some rougher outings, including a loss at SIUE on April 28, 2026[2][6]. The differentiator is that he looks like a competitive, attack-the-zone arm who can miss bats in relief; if your team wants a bullpen piece with upside rather than a polished finished product, he’s worth the look[1][2][6].
