FIU big man Michael Phillip offers size and defensive potential
Michael Phillip is worth a look as a **rim-protecting center** whose value starts with size, defensive activity, and rebounding upside; while the search results do not provide current FIU game stats, similar players with his profile are typically judged by how well they anchor the paint, finish simple looks, and keep possessions alive. The main differentiators to watch are his ability to defend without fouling, control the glass, and bring energy that changes the tone of a game—traits that matter if your team needs a physical interior presence more than a high-usage scorer.
