UTEP’s return-game spark with ball-hawking edge
Jahmal Fenner stands out as a high-motor defensive back whose best calling card is impact plays: at UTEP, he was a standout ball hawk and elite return specialist, holding the school’s career punt-return record and ranking second all-time with 25 pass breakups[7]. In the 2004 season, he led the Miners with four interceptions and added big-time production on special teams, showing the kind of sudden, competitive, field-flipping value coaches love[9][10]. If a team wants a DB who can create turnovers and change hidden yardage, Fenner fits the bill.
