Montana’s homegrown safety Fynn Ridgeway brings versatility and upside
Fynn Ridgeway is a Whitefish native and Montana safety with intriguing two-way athletic juice: at Minnesota State Moorhead in the 2024 season, he led the team’s backfield with 214 rushing yards and three TDs while also adding 207 receiving yards and two more scores. At 6-foot-1 and 204 pounds, he brings size, physicality, and a rare offensive background that hints at strong instincts and open-field toughness. He transferred to Montana in time for winter workouts, and the key question is how quickly that playmaking can translate on defense for the Grizzlies.
