HS Rushing Legend Turned UB Walk-On Depth RB
Chris Doubek, a 2013 New York high school football rushing record holder with 2,534 yards for Randolph, transitioned to college football as a walk-on running back for the Buffalo Bulls, redshirting in 2014 before contributing as a junior in 2017 on the Academic All-MAC team with a 3.26 GPA in media studies. His modest college stats belie elite high school explosiveness (e.g., 240 yards, 5 TDs in a title game) and versatility (97 rush yards, 94 receiving in a game), marking him as a gritty, intelligent depth piece with NFL dreamer potential—perfect for teams needing reliable, high-motor backups without ego.
