Ernest Moore was a tone-setting, ball-hawking leader for Lehigh’s secondary
In the 2007 season, Ernest Moore was a captain and Second-Team All-Patriot League defensive back for Lehigh, leading the team with 64 tackles and 4 interceptions while repeatedly flashing in big games. He stood out for his range, instincts, and physical presence in the secondary, plus the kind of leadership and leadership-by-example energy coaches love—he was described as a leader of the Mountain Hawks secondary with strong leadership skills. If you want a DB who brings production, reliability, and some real edge, Moore is exactly the kind of throwback playmaker you’d want on your side.
