veteran guard and hometown leader at Purdue Fort Wayne
De'Jour Young is a **guard** whose value is rooted in leadership, consistency, and a do-it-all mentality: Purdue Fort Wayne described her as the team’s lone senior and last year’s leader in points, rebounds, and assists, which points to a player who can organize an offense and compete across the stat sheet. The biggest differentiator is her local connection and senior-year urgency, which can bring accountability, toughness, and buy-in beyond box-score production. She looks like a strong fit for a team needing an experienced, versatile backcourt presence rather than a high-usage scorer.
