Jaylan Granberry brings veteran Yale DB experience and Ivy League all-star credibility
Granberry is a seasoned Yale defensive back with multi-year varsity experience and enough reputation to earn a spot on the Ivy League Dream Bowl roster in 2023. In the 2022 season, Yale listed him at 5-foot-10, 194 pounds, giving him a compact, physical frame that fits a tackling- and coverage-focused defensive back. His background notes him as a former high-school leader in interceptions and defensive touchdowns, which hints at true playmaking instincts. He looks like a smart fit for teams valuing steady, experienced secondary play with a competitive edge.
