Caden Carlin gives Monmouth a steady lefty look with big-game poise
In the 2026 season, Monmouth left-handed pitcher Caden Carlin has been a useful multi-inning option, sitting at 2-0 and showing he can settle games down, including a three-inning, two-hit win over Hofstra. His profile suggests a steady, competitive southpaw rather than pure smoke-and-heat: he’s been trusted in several appearances, worked through traffic, and helped the Hawks in leverage spots. He was also ranked among Pennsylvania’s top-100 players as a recruit, which lines up with the feel for a pitcher who brings savvy, toughness, and matchup value.
