Alabama’s big-frame righty still in the upside queue
Ketchum is a 6-foot-3, 210-pound sophomore RHP at Alabama who arrived as a highly regarded Mississippi prep arm, ranked by Perfect Game as the state’s No. 1 RHP and No. 4 overall prospect. In his freshman season in 2025, he appeared in four relief outings and logged 1.2 innings with 3 strikeouts, showing the raw arm talent that got him to Tuscaloosa. The fit is about projection more than polish: he’s a sturdy, right-handed power build with developmental upside, but he’s still early in his college career and not yet a volume contributor.
