CCSU linebacker with upside, but public stat trails are thin
Marcus Esteves is a Central Connecticut State linebacker whose public-facing profile is currently light on verified stat detail, so the appeal is more about projection than box-score shine. With CCSU coming off an 8-5 season in 2025 and a No. 1 NEC finish, any linebacker in that system has a chance to matter quickly if he brings range, tackling reliability, and special-teams grit. The key question for roster fit: does he play with enough urgency and physicality to become an every-down depth piece or a core special-teamer?
