promising Tarleton State arm with late-inning flashes
In the 2026 season, Corbin Walter has been used as a right-handed reliever for Tarleton State and has shown the kind of short-burst effectiveness teams like to stash for tight spots, including scoreless relief appearances against California Baptist and combined scoreless work in a key April win. His profile suggests a compact, pitch-to-contact arm with enough competitiveness to get outs when the game gets messy; he may not yet be a finished product, but he looks like a useful depth piece with live-arm upside. If you want toughness, versatility, and a pitcher who can handle pressure innings, he’s worth a serious look.
