veteran Alcorn State trench anchor with proven disruptive flashes
Myshawn Smith is a senior defensive lineman at Alcorn State, listed at 6-foot-3 and 290 pounds, with a background as an All-State talent from Thornton High School in Chicago. In the most recent available game log, he showed active run support with 8 tackles against McNeese in 2017, and Alcorn’s official bio notes no current-season stats on record, so the public data points are a bit vintage—but the profile still screams experienced, physical interior defender. He looks like a fit for teams wanting a strong, assignment-sound DL who can eat space, hold the point, and bring toughness more than flashy sack totals.
