Depth linebacker with early-game tackling production for Purdue
Lampert has shown early-career snap value as a Purdue linebacker, with ESPN listing him at #41 and crediting him with 2 solo tackles and no sacks, interceptions, or forced fumbles so far[2]. The key reason to care is that he projects as a role player who can help on fundamentals and pursuit speed more than splash plays right now, which fits teams looking for dependable linebacker depth rather than an instant star[2].
