Jake Arnold brings swing-and-miss upside to Mount St. Mary’s bullpen
In the 2025 season, Jake Arnold logged 23.0 innings with 21 strikeouts, showing a solid bat-missing profile even while the results were uneven (9.78 ERA). He’s a 6-foot-2 right-hander with enough length to project as a matchup piece if his command sharpens, and his best outing came with six strikeouts against Iona. The appeal is the arm action and strikeout ability; the question is consistency, because his season included traffic on the bases and hard contact. If your team needs a live arm with developmental upside, he’s worth a look.
