Roland Dempster is Stony Brook’s bruising, All-CAA caliber workhorse
In the 2025 season, Roland Dempster entered the year as a preseason All-America pick after a 2024 breakout in which he led Stony Brook with 1,332 rushing yards, 18 rushing touchdowns, and 138.9 all-purpose yards per game. His best calling card is volume with pop: he can carry a heavy load, force missed tackles, and still add enough as a receiver to keep defenses honest. If a team wants a tough, productive, no-nonsense RB with proven big-game production and national recognition, Dempster fits the bill.
