Savannah State’s DB depth piece with recruiting intrigue
Travis McBride is listed with Savannah State’s football program, but the available data does not surface current defensive stat production for the 2026 season, so the read here is more about profile than box-score noise. His biggest differentiator is positional fit and upside: he carries the DB tag in a program that is still sorting its 2026 roster, and his background has shown enough multi-sport athleticism to suggest movement skills and competitive juice. For a staff looking for a developmental defensive back who may bring effort, versatility, and special-teams value, McBride is a name worth monitoring rather than a finished product.
