Army DL with High-Intensity Tackling and St. Louis High School Grit
Isaiah Filisi, a 90-lb defensive lineman for Army West Point, stands out for his relentless intensity and ability to generate tackles for loss, as seen in his 2023 season performance against Delaware State where he recorded two tackles including a -1-yard TFL[3]. Hailing from Waipahu, HI and a product of St. Louis High School, Filisi brings a unique blend of Pacific Islander physicality and disciplined Army training, making him a high-fit candidate for teams needing a tough, battle-ready DL who plays with consistent fire[1][5]. While his sack and interception stats remain modest, his differentiator is his personality: a quiet, hard-working leader who never shies from contact, with no known injury history, ensuring durability and reliability on the defensive line[1][3].
