Kylen Evans is carving out a real role in Texas State’s passing game
In the 2025 season, Texas State WR Kylen Evans caught 15 passes for 211 yards and a touchdown, averaging 14.1 yards per catch, while starting six games and flashing big-play pop with a 45-yard reception. He’s a 6-foot-2 target with useful size for the outside, and Texas Football noted he was battling for the third receiver spot in spring 2026 after logging 18 games over two seasons. That makes him a developmental but useful fit: not a star yet, but a physical, ascending depth piece with upside.
