Jermaine Gasaway brings compact burst and veteran depth to Sam Houston’s backfield
Jermaine Gasaway is listed by Sam Houston as a redshirt senior RB at 5-7, 180, giving the Bearkats a low-center-of-gravity runner with veteran experience and a compact build that usually translates to quick cuts and toughness between the tackles[1]. Publicly available roster and stat pages give a limited current form read, but his profile suggests a depth piece with change-of-pace value rather than a pure feature-back workload[1][4]. If you need a hard-nosed, experienced back who can squeeze out yards and bring reliable depth, he’s a useful fit; if you’re hunting for a high-volume, stat-sheet-stuffing centerpiece, the evidence here is thinner[1].
