Avery Broughton is a defensive-minded guard with shot-blocking pop and high-upside toughness
Avery Broughton brings value as a disruptive, defense-first guard whose calling card is activity around the rim and impact plays, highlighted by a six-rebound, five-block game that earned GPAC Defensive Player of the Week recognition.[1] Her high-school résumé also shows real all-around production and winning habits, finishing with 2,229 points and 1,186 rebounds and averaging 17.4 points, nine rebounds, and three assists as a senior.[3] For a team looking for a gritty, versatile competitor who can change possessions and plays bigger than her position, she is an intriguing fit.[1][3]
