Remembering Regina Rogers-Wright: A Washington Basketball Legend
Regina Rogers-Wright, a dominant center for the Washington Huskies, concluded her collegiate career in the 2011-12 season with impressive numbers: 12.5 PPG and 6.9 RPG. The Chief Sealth High School alumna was a transformative player who led her prep program to back-to-back state championships (2005-06) before becoming a standout at UW. Known for her intensity, leadership, and basketball IQ, Rogers-Wright left an indelible mark on Washington women's basketball and her Seattle community. She was honored with a proclamation in January 2026 for her lasting impact on the game.
