Big, Developing Huskies Tackle With Real Upside
Hylkema is a 6-foot-7, 320-plus-pound Washington offensive tackle with prototypical size, a long frame, and real developmental upside; in 2025, he saw his first game action in the L.A. Bowl after redshirting in 2024, then spent spring reps working mostly with the second and third units, which says “project” more than “finished product.” He was a three-star recruit and a high-school line anchor, so the appeal is clear: physical tools, room to grow, and a lunch-pail mentality. If a team wants a high-ceiling lineman who still needs seasoning, he fits the bill.
